Your piece can be nearly any size or shape you want it to be. If it has straight sides we’ll trim it on our cutter, but if you want round corners or a custom shape, we’ll use a steel-rule die. Some shapes and sizes are standard enough that we keep dies on hand for general use, saving you the cost of having a new one made. PDFs of these are available here for your convenience.
Whatever your project requires, Evolution Press has a huge library of papers available. Tree-free (cotton or sugarcane/hemp), post-consumer-waste recycled, responsibly harvested, heavy, duplexed, textured, and smooth – just to name a few.

Ink choice is as important as the paper it’s printed on. One color may contain more or less extender than another. Combined with a specific paper choice and image size, the amount of extender can greatly affect the final outcome of your project.
We mix all our soy-based inks on site using the Pantone color system. So if you require a custom match, no problem. We're happy to provide custom colors and drawdowns to ensure the perfect match. And if you're printing heavy coverage on an uncoated sheet to reduce scuffing, you should definitely talk to us about our in-line silicone sealer.
Our commitment to the environment is reflected in our ink recycling program. Due to contamination from additives, excess ink cannot be reused and therefore oftentimes ends up in landfill. All of our waste ink is stored on site and re-used through Safety-Kleen’s EPA-compliant fuel burning program.
Made from actual soy beans, soy inks have low VOCs, or volatile organic compounds. Another benefit of soy (vs petroleum inks) is that its oil is much cleaner – resulting in stronger, more vibrant colors.
In addition to providing metallic shine or holographic shimmer to your projects, foil is a great way to lay down color over a solid-colored sheet. Like everything in printing, the options are endless. That's why we've put together a few examples to get you started below. Once you have an idea of what you're looking for, schedule an appointment with us to review the foil book and to talk about the nuances of your job.

We use photopolymer dies for letterpress and debossing.
We use copper dies for embossing, debossing, foiling, and engraving.
We use magnesium dies for letterpress and embossing.
We use aluminum plates exclusively for offset runs.
